We are often asked what is the best way to eat chutney and the answer is, anyway you like! Today is #WorldChutneyDay so we’ve listed 4 great ways to enjoy our various traditional and contemporary Filligans chutneys.
1. Sandwiches
A great option if you’re having cooked ham or chicken and if you’re a fan of a grilled cheese sandwich, we highly recommend a little chutney. Here’s a little recipe to a grilled cheese we love.
2. Cheese
An obvious one, but it really is a fantastic accompaniment with artisan cheeses. If you’re having guests round, add some preserved or cured meats and crackers for a welcome platter.
3. Pork
Chutney goes brilliantly with cooked pork so don’t be afraid to stir up your taste buds and add it to chops or grilled sausages.
4. Side Order
Great tasting chutneys also go really well as a side with an Indian curry.
